Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer pressed the Trump administration Monday to brief Congress and publicly release the full terms of a newly announced memorandum of understanding with Iran, calling the lack of detail a disservice to lawmakers and the public alike.
The demand came hours after President Donald Trump said the framework agreement, designed to end a conflict with Iran lasting more than three months, had been signed digitally. Trump said the Strait of Hormuz was already partially reopening, with a formal signing ceremony scheduled for Friday in Geneva.
