Review Finds Exercise May Lower Triglycerides in Postmenopausal Women, With Diminishing Returns
A review of 51 randomized controlled trials involving 2,046 postmenopausal women found that aerobic exercise, combined cardio and strength training, and high-intensity interval training lowered triglyceride levels compared with no exercise, according to a study published in Frontiers in Physiology. Resistance training alone showed no clear effect on triglycerides, the researchers reported.
