The investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) marriage to her “dirty dandy” alleged brother goes back further than anyone realized, and she previously got off on a technicality.
As TGP readers know, Omar has long been dogged by allegations that she married her second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, as part of a scheme to get him U.S. citizenship. This has now become part of the sprawling federal investigation into Omar’s immigration fraud actions that could result in her deportation or imprisonment.
