The Massachusetts Republican Party’s convention in Worcester saw delegates deliver a decisive win in favor of Mike Minogue as their choice for governor. Minogue brought in 70.38% of the vote, which officially earns him the GOP’s endorsement and wins him the convention as a whole. A total of 1,793 votes were cast in the election.
“Today’s convention results reflect the strong will of Massachusetts Republicans,” Amy Carnevale, Massachusetts Republican Party Chairwoman, went on to say in a statement. “We are proud to put forward Mike Minogue and Anne Brensley as our endorsed ticket. Together, they offer a bold vision that will deliver results for every corner of the Commonwealth.”
