Incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Perry lost his re-election bid to Democrat challenger Janelle Stelson in Pennsylvania’s 10th district. The Associated Press called the race at 10:41 p.m. ET, and with 99% of the vote counted, Stelson held a 10-point lead over Perry.
Perry had narrowly defeated Stelson in 2024 by just one percentage point while President Donald Trump carried the district by more than five percentage points.
The defeat follows a likely Democrat sweep of toss-up Pennsylvania seats, with Democrat challengers ousting Republican challengers in the state’s 7th and 8th districts as well.
This is a developing story.
