Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX) pulled no punches in his questioning of witnesses during Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing about Somali involvement in alleged welfare fraud in Minnesota.
The Texas congressman had a particularly sharp exchange with former federal prosecutor and Democrat witness Brendan Ballou regarding the percentage of Somali households who are reliant upon government support programs in Minnesota.
