President Donald Trump signed the “Memorandum of Understanding” with Iran, which is aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East, while visiting French President Emmanuel Macron at Versailles on Wednesday evening.A Trump administration official read the terms outlined in the memorandum to reporters earlier in the day, which addressed Iran’s nuclear program, ongoing fighting in Lebanon, sanctions relief, and plans for the release of frozen funds.
A White House official confirmed to Reuters that the memorandum has been signed.
