A 30-year-old Port Charlotte man sits in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond after authorities say he posted a threat on X to kill U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds, hours after the Florida gubernatorial candidate shared President Donald Trump’s endorsement for the 2026 race.
Dominic M. Ambrosia was arrested Wednesday, May 27, on a charge of intimidation, writing, or threats to kill or injure, WPBF 25 News reported. He also faces a charge of failure of a convicted felon to register.
