Plane crash kills five people in Texas

A twin-engine Cessna crashed about 40 miles southwest of Austin, Texas, on Thursday night, killing the pilot and all four passengers.The aircraft, a Cessna 421C, took off from Amarillo. A second aircraft, which was reportedly flying with the Cessna, landed safely in New Braunfels, which is about 30 miles northeast of San Antonio, the Associated Press reported.
The plane was also reportedly was going at a high rate of speed before crashing, but the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board as of Friday afternoon were still investigate the crash.
Aerial photos in the Austin Statesmen show the aircraft shattered among trees in Texas hill country.
