Father’s Day found the Gray Lady deferring to “left-wing gender goblins” and earning every bit of blowback for promoting a “trans dad” who works in kids television.
It may be true that the annual celebration of dads is often the butt of jokes, reduced to a tradition of giving ties, grilling or some ostensibly male activity. That said, The New York Times decided to make itself the joke his third Sunday of June when it published a woman’s op-ed reflecting on her own experiences with fatherhood.
