Katie Zacharia will make her first appearance as President Donald Trump’s press secretary in the White House briefing room on Tuesday. She is scheduled to take the podium at 9:30 a.m. ET, a mere 24 hours after starting work in her new role and four days after being named as Karoline Leavitt’s replacement, the Washington Examiner reported.
After fielding journalists’ questions, she’s scheduled to fly with Trump to Alaska for a campaign rally.
Zacharia, 41, was previously the communications advisor for Trump Media and Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social. She also served as spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security.
