Recently, the Democratic Party has found itself divided between the establishment wing of the party and a new, much more radical gang of socialists calling for revolutionary changes to party policy. After welcoming the socialist faction into the Democratic Party with open arms the previous day, on Tuesday’s Morning Joe, MS NOW’s Joe Scarborough did a complete 180, attacking “socialist Republicans” for being the real communists in a bizarre and hypocritical rant.
Irate that Republicans were calling out the Democrats were embracing the socialist faction that openly embraces Communist figures like Mao Zedong and Karl Marx, Scarborough shouted about how Republicans were somehow the real socialists:
This president is seizing control of private companies. That is socialism! That is communism! And our debt, our debt is so massive, Social Security is running out of money. Our debt is so massive that we are now spending- you talk about socialists, these socialist Republicans in Washington DC, now have us for the first time spending more money paying the interest on their debt than we spend on defending our country with money to the armed services.
Yesterday, Scarborough was supporting socialists in the Democratic party. Today he’s suddenly blaming the “socialist Republicans” for the US debt crisis.
