A Minneapolis restaurant that abandoned traditional pricing to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations is closing permanently, months after its owner attempted to replace profits with donations and free meals.
Modern Times Café owner Dylan Alverson announced this week that the restaurant will shut down by the end of the year, ending nearly 16 years in business.
