There’s no horrifying criminal that the media won’t go to bat for. The pro-crime movement has made criminals a core part of the constituency of the Left. Every criminal is now a victim (unless they’re suspected of having the wrong politics) and every victim doesn’t matter (unless they’re a member of the right identity politics group) and so the media, which is now completely ideologically aligned with the farthest leftist movements, is going to bat for Christa Pike
