New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani issued a blustering statement vowing to defy and oppose the Supreme Court and the Trump Administration to defend migrants, including illegal aliens and those who are having their Temporary Protected Status revoked, namely Syrians and Haitians, cementing New York City’s status as a sanctuary city.
Such is what his office announced, releasing a statement of his on the matter. Introducing the statement, his office said, “In response to the Supreme Court’s decision to allow the federal government to terminate legal protections for hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Syrian immigrants in the United States, Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani released the following statement.”
