Despite a leading hospital system in the Big Apple reaching an agreement with the Justice Department to remain in accord with federal law on genital mutilation and chemical castration of minors, the NYC Department of Health (DOH) moved ahead with nearly $9 million in contracts for so-called “gender-affirming care.”
