Former New York Mets superstar Noah Syndergaard put both his former team and the political leadership of New York City on blast, saying the state of chaos surrounding the Mets is reflective of the broader issues within the Big Apple. The former All-Star pitcher made a recent appearance on OutKick’s “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless” program where he shredded New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani while chatting about the Mets disappointing season.
“It’s kind of also ironic,” Syndergaard told Lahren. “Those two guys are some of the biggest conservatives I’ve played for as well as with, with Jacob deGrom. The craziness that’s going on in New York.” Syndergaard was referring to Mets players Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo while reflecting on the current condition of the franchise.
