A clear majority of U.S. adults think the Supreme Court is avoiding decisions that President Donald Trump might ignore, a recent survey has revealed.Overall, 57% said that the Court was avoiding such a ruling in the latest Marquette poll. Overall, just 42% of respondents approved of the high court while 57% disapproved. Top line approval of the Court fell from 51% in February 2025 to 42% now.
Notably, a 66% majority favored the decision that struck down Trump’s tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Thirty-three percent opposed the decision.
Conducted April 8-16, the survey questioned 982 U.S. adults and has a margin of error of +/- 3.4%.
