It’s been twenty-five years, a quarter century, since Muslim terrorists crashed airliners into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, an act of wanton murder by Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda sect of Islam. Bin Laden saw himself as God’s instrument to destroy the infidels whose bases profaned the sacred soil of Saudi Arabia, the land of the Holy Places Mecca and Medina. It was an insult too egregious to go unpunished.
