(CN) — A California judge on Thursday struck down the Trump administration’s ban on usage of the artificial intelligence company Anthropic’s technology in the military.
U.S. District Judge Rita Lin found President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth illegally retaliated against Anthropic after they refused to remove restrictions on use of the Claude chatbot for mass surveillance of Americans and lethal autonomous warfare.
