Judge Anthony Trenga blocked DHS and DOT from acquiring 17 million CDL driver records in response to a lawsuit. DOT has always been able to acquire these records. Oversight is an immediate need after states have issued CDL licenses to foreigners here illegally, who often can’t speak English and receive CDL licenses from sham schools.
Trenga is the Chief District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Presiding Judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
