Mark Epstein, brother of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, doubts that the newly released suicide note is his, suggesting it could have been forced. The Associated Press reported that it consulted with several forensics experts who said the note is likely Epstein’s handwriting.
A federal judge released the never-before-seen note this week.
He argued that the release of the note is intended to support the ruling that he died by suicide while awaiting his trial in 2019.
“It wouldn’t be hard to get some pro forger to forge a note,” Mark, 71, said, according to Business Insider.
“That’s the easiest f—ing thing in the world to do,” he added.
