In a development that could reshape the endgame architecture of the Gaza conflict, Israel’s Diplomatic-Security Cabinet voted Sunday to approve the legal and operational framework allowing a multinational peacekeeping force — branded by the Trump administration as the “Board of Peace” — to deploy inside Gaza, according to Israel Hayom and Reuters. The vote passed over the objection of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who voted against and was in the minority.
