Iran sends new peace proposal to mediators in Pakistan

Iran sent an updated deal to end the war with the U.S. Pakistani officials received the new proposal, and it’s been delivered to the U.S., CNBC reported Friday. 
However, when the proposal was sent and received is unclear.
President Donald Trump signaled he plans to continue blocking imports and exports out of Iran’s ports as a means to force the regime to agree to end its nuclear enrichment program. 
Earlier this week, Iran offered a proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end the war with the U.S., but negotiations on removing the Persian Gulf country’s stockpiles of enriched uranium would be postponed under the agreement. Trump categorically rejected the deal, and has vowed to continue strangling Iran’s economy until a nuclear deal is part of the agreement. 
Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Friday sounded a bellicose tone in a public statement in which he vowed to maintain Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities amid the ongoing efforts by the U.S. to force them to eliminate or reduce both.
Details as to what’s in the new peace proposal haven’t been released.
