In a high school in northern Italy, flags of “Palestine” have been on display in classrooms throughout the year. The school administrators made no objection. But when two students decided to display a banner that read “Italia agli Italiani” — “Italy for the Italians” — the administration was furious. The two students were given “bad conduct” grades and ordered to take an additional class, presumably re-educating them as to the need to be “welcoming” to migrants.
