Illegal immigrant from Guinea facing charges for allegedly assaulting teenager

An illegal immigrant from Guinea is facing charges after he allegedly raped a teenager in Montgomery County, Maryland. Abdullah Dia was working as a rideshare driver when the alleged assault took place, Fox News reported. He is facing charges of first-degree rape, kidnapping, second-degree assault and third-degree sex offense. 
The incident took place in a parking lot after the girl was picked up through the Empower rideshare app, according to authorities. 
In 2023, Dia was apprehended while crossing into the U.S. at the Arizona border and was released under the Biden administration. Authorities believe there may have been other victims.
