The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will reestablish a civil rights division that focuses on religious liberty and conscience protections. It was initially created during President Donald Trump’s first administration. Trump established it in 2018 to help eradicate anti-Christian bias.
Biden canceled the division in 2023.
