Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee says his panel will soon consider legislation to counter the efforts of so-called sanctuary cities which actively impede Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In an interview with Cleveland.com, Jordan said his committee is planning to mark up legislation later this month that seeks to end sanctuary jurisdictions which have adopted policies prohibiting cooperation with federal immigration authorities, including ICE or which actively work to prevent federal immigration enforcement.
