High-Dose Vitamin D Linked to Higher Cognitive Scores in Older Adults with Sleep Problems
Older adults with mild cognitive impairment and sleep disturbances who took at least 5,000 international units (IU) of vitamin D daily scored more than 13% higher on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) compared to those taking no vitamin D, according to a study published in Sleep Medicine and conducted by researchers at Emory University.
