Democratic Socialist [communist] N’kilya Michaela Jasmine Taylor Thomas beat out a less progressive Democrat in the Oklahoma primary. She has said, “Capitalism is what’s destroying our country right now.” Thomas said she is a self-declared Democratic Socialist, but not yet a member of DSA. The radical socialist claims she is “the next generation” and “looking to change the system.”
Radical socialist N’Kiyla Thomas defeated Jim Priest and is the Democrats’ official nominee for the U.S. Senate seat in Oklahoma. She’ll face and lose to Republican Kevin Hern in November.
