Over the weekend, Trump floated changing the name of New Mexico to “New America” on social media, weeks after he had already rechristened Lake Ontario as “Lake America” during the ongoing trade dispute with Canada. In a separate post, he shared an image of the U.S. flag covering North America, the Caribbean, Greenland, and Iceland, a move that prompted Iceland to summon the American ambassador. He also posted an AI-created video depicting himself as the Green Lantern, the DC Comics superhero. A separate animated video showing Trump beating Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney with a hockey stick circulated online, though The Hill reported that clip came from a pro-Trump account, not from the president himself.
