    Geely Auto Group announced on Sept. 24, 2026, that its AI-assisted EV battery system charged vehicles from 10% to 70% in 4 minutes 30 seconds in company tests. The result, Geely said, is 30 seconds faster than BYD’s previously announced five-minute charging benchmark.

    The report was published by the Daily Mail and attributed the figures to Geely statements and test results. No independent confirmation was reported.
