The claim was dismissed as a conspiracy theory by many on the left. Now, however, former CIA Director John Brennan has said the quiet part out loud: There’s still a “legion of professionals” working against Trump. It turns out the president’s vow to “drain the swamp” is easier said than done – and the deep state isn’t going to go down without a fight.
