A federal judge on Thursday threw out former CIA Director John Brennan’s lawsuit seeking to force the Trump administration to preserve records for his defense against potential criminal charges, finding he lacked standing.
The Department of Justice is investigating claims that Brennan and other national security officials conspired to undermine President Donald Trump.
