Serious violent and property crime rates took a sharp dive in 2025, dropping 25 percent and 19 percent, respectively, according to preliminary Justice Department findings obtained exclusively by Breitbart News.
The estimates show roughly 669,000 fewer victimizations involving rape or sexual assault, robbery, and aggravated assault than in 2024. Households also experienced about 3.5 million fewer property crimes over the same 12-month span.
