Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson has crossed party lines and endorsed Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo in his bid for reelection, citing the Republican governor’s experience in law enforcement and his approach to public safety.Wolfson told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he has known Lombardo for about 30 years and worked closely with him when Lombardo served as Clark County sheriff.
Wolfson said he believes Lombardo is the better choice on public safety, while criticizing Democratic challenger and Attorney General Aaron Ford’s record on crime and his office’s handling of certain legal cases.
