On Thursday, the Democratic National Committee released its autopsy of the 2024 election. Turn to the conclusion and you find a single line: “This section was not provided by the author.” Turn to the executive summary. The same line.
The party spent more than a year on a 192-page report meant to explain the worst presidential defeat it had suffered since 2004. Then it published the report with no executive summary and no conclusion. Democrats did not shelve their autopsy so much as fail to finish it.
