About a year-and-a-half ago, transgender actor Laverne Cox claimed on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show that GOP ads were contributing to transgender suicides. On Wednesday, Cox returned to do some book promotion and to claim that all parts of the LGBT initialism are “divine.”
Host-of-the-week Desi Lydic wondered, “There are a lot of young folks out there who may have experienced some of the pain that you went through as a young person. What would you tell them right now in this moment in time?”
