CNN journalists blocked from accessing White House

CNN announced that journalists on staff have been blocked from accessing the White House on Saturday following President Trump’s decision to impose a ban on “fake news.”MS Now said on Saturday that some of its staff members had their White House media credentials taken by the Secret Service.
“Early today, CNN journalists were denied access to the White House grounds. CNN’s mission to report on the U.S. government will continue regardless of any attempts to restrict physical access to the White House and other government buildings, or any other attempts to impede our journalism,” the network said in a statement. “We have a right under the U.S. Constitution to do our reporting without hindrance or interference from the government and this ban is an illegal assault on this fundamental right.”
One of CNN’s correspondents said their press credential pass was seized. 
Press rights groups and working journalists, including the president of the White House Correspondents Association, have argued that Trump’s ban goes against the First Amendment.
