(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The BBC has released new footage of Saudi intelligence agent and alleged CIA asset Omar al-Bayoumi—who was closely linked to two of the 9/11 hijackers—associating with Al Qaeda recruiter Anwar al-Awlaki.
The footage, which is being used as evidence in the long-running lawsuit from victims of 9/11, undercuts al-Bayoumi’s previous denials that he ever met al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen who was controversially assassinated by a drone during the Obama administration. Additionally, the footage shows him going on a paintball trip with al-Bayoumi and other alleged extremists.
