Charlie Kirk posted thousands of times over more than a decade. Making a book out of those posts meant reading back through the whole record and sorting it into the subjects he kept returning to, and one of the largest was family.
That did not surprise me. Donald Trump Jr. introduced us when Charlie was 19, and for the decade we spent in each other’s lives, what he was really looking for was love. What surprised me was how much of that search he put in public, and how little of that ever made the news.
