A 51-year-old pastor and jiu-jitsu instructor in California faces multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually abusing children over a period stretching back more than a decade, and investigators say more victims may still be out there.
Emmanuel Marchica of Hollister, California, was arrested July 10 and booked into Monterey County Jail after detectives identified several alleged victims whose accounts date as far back as 2012. A judge set bail at $17.5 million. The charges include lewd or lascivious acts with a child, sexual penetration of a child, oral copulation with a child, and annoying or molesting a child.
