A California politician trying to scramble to the top of the pile in Sacramento claiming that his dad, who was actually born in Sacramento, was an immigrant, in order to appeal to Mexican immigrants is peak Sacramento politics.
Xavier Becerra, who somehow stumbled to the top after the original front runner in the Democrat race had to be drop out after being accused of rape and ties to a Chinese spy, is charmless, arrogant and inevitable because he’s a Democrat. To try and appeal to the public, he did what every politician, including his old boss, Gov. Gavin Newsom, does, which is invent a hard-luck story.
