Buttigieg says he’s ‘more inclined than not’ to run for president in 2028

Pete Buttigieg, who served as transportation secretary during the Biden administration, said he’s still considering a presidential run in 2028. “I think I’m more inclined than not, but there’s so much we don’t know,” Buttigieg told Steven Bartlett on the “The Diary of a CEO” podcast episode published on Monday.
Bittigieg and his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, adopted twins in 2021, and he said that he didn’t fully understand the weight of the decision until he became a father. The demands of his family could be factors in his decision to run or not, he suggested. 
Buttigieg finished fifth in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, and early polling shows he is a leading contender for the party nomination in 2028, should he pursue it, The Hill reported.
