Texas-based travel center chain Buc-ee’s opened its first location in Arkansas on Monday as the company continues to roll out its aggressive expansion effort. Following its formula that emphasizes sprawl, the new location in Benton, Arkansas, spans 74,000 square feet and has 120 fueling positions. The company said it will create more than 200 jobs.
The Arkansas location brings the company’s total to 58 nationwide, Fox News reported. It comes just five days after the company opened a location in San Marcos, Texas. In April, it opened its first location in Ohio, and it opened its first Arizona location in June.
Besides its home state of Texas, the company also has locations in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
