Yet, as Media Research Center (MRC) President David Bozell highlighted in his Friday, March 6 interview on WMAL with host Derek Hunter, the mainstream media’s coverage has been predictably negative and doom-laden.
Bozell pointed out that for much of the week following the operation’s start, networks fixated on predictions of failure, economic fallout, and risks to U.S. service members—essentially betting against American success. He described this as the press being “in the prediction business,” more interested in America’s potential loss than in reporting facts on the ground.
