Every Senate Democrat voted against legislation that funds Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Border Patrol through the remainder of President Donald Trump’s second term, Sen. Marsha Blackburn told colleagues from the Senate floor Wednesday, and the Tennessee Republican said voters back home want to know why.
Blackburn delivered her remarks shortly after Congress approved the Secure America Act, a bill she described as a major victory for border security and public safety. The legislation also secures funding for the Transportation Security Administration, the Secret Service, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Homeland Security Investigations, Newsmax reported.
