Former President Joe Biden is preparing to fight the release of audio recordings and transcripts tied to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents.
According to a joint court filing submitted Friday, Biden plans to ask a court to intervene after the Department of Justice indicated it intends to release redacted versions of the materials to Congress and the Heritage Foundation, which sought the records through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.
