Beloved FOX 2 News anchor Kellie Rowe published a post on Facebook announcing that she is leaving the network after a decade of being on the air. FOX 2 is an affiliate station out of Detroit, Michigan. Her lengthy post not only revealed that she was leaving, but also offered a deeper, reflective look at her thoughts on where she is at in her life.
“FOX 2 has been my home since shortly after graduating from Michigan State. I grew up there, both professionally and personally. Over the years I had the chance to do just about every job in the newsroom — anchoring, sports, traffic, weather, reporting, I tried it all. From covering Tigers Spring Training in Florida to partnering with Michigan Humane to showcase adoptable dogs at the Auto Show, there are far too many memories to count,” Rowe opened up in her post.
