Baltic States Cry Wolf About Russia While Continuously Poking ‘Bear’

Just like any other racketeering cartel in history, NATO needs a raison d’etre. Obviously, Russia is seen as the perfect excuse. However, for this to work, the Eurasian giant needs to be presented as a supposed “menace” to “helpless European democracies”. While Moscow doesn’t need to do anything apart from simply existing to provide the excuse, NATO still keeps pushing the narrative that presents Russia as an “imminent threat”.
